Great work by the soldier to get a VC.

But look at how much damage the Warriors took as well, while keeping their crew alive and still being mobile.

Maybe so but it is amazing that the Warrior ICV can take so many rounds and still survive. Compared to APC, it's a proof of a good concept. Wonder how Bradley's would have fared in the same situation. Or some of other MICVs like CV90, ASCOD, and BMP3.

By the way, a brave man, by any standard and regardless of which side he's fighting on.
