Tractor towed MLRS with female crews...

bmpd - Мирные тракторы *абоче-Крестьянской Красной гвардии КНД*

They look a little silly at best, mostly desperate.

I don't know. If they go on the open market I would totally buy one.

That's more of a charade than a parade

You gotto commend good ol' Kim for being quite resourceful for the complete scumbag that he is. The guy would have had people tow those MLRS straight up to the front lines on foot if required. The same people who he starves & deprives of the basic necessities of life on a daily basis.

That photo in the link you posted, Feanor, actually paints a very disturbing & sick picture of N.Korea ( or DPRK ), made even more so by the utter cleanliness & spot-on picture perfect display in that parade.

When they're not fighting they're farming!

Part of Kim's live off the land philosophy, park-up your MLRS and then harvest the local crops with your tractor and trailer - beats hammering swords into plowshares.

I suspect there were less rice cakes at this years parade - food shortages and all that.

With SU34, North Korean has been made a big step forward, and their nuclear inventory have got a suitable aircraft to release any place of their enemy. This north's progress will soon to be complicated ways to anticipated by south's and their ally.

Su-34? Like the Russian strike fighter? Because the DPRK doesn't have any of those. Hell, so far the VVS has yet to have a squadron reach IOC.

So a new North Korean tank was shown fairly publicly on a recent parade. Photos here. It has ERA of some sort on it (probably a K-1 derivative), on the front glacis, but not on the turret.

To be honest I can't make out if that's an IR illuminator on top of the main gun, the pics are kind of grainy. Anyone who can get more photos or info on this, it would be very welcome.

Looking at this I cant help but think of the movie cars where Tow-mater and lightning McQueen rev their motors and the tractors tip up.

The young bloke loves that movie plays it every night.

How can the US and South Korea NOT attack after reading news about people being sent to labor camp for "not crying enough", when it all seems to be defended by tractor girls?

Well first of because we know it's not just tractor girls, and second of even tractor towed MLRS can still do damage if you have more MLRS then RoK has munitions to strike them with...
