Hi all,

I'm wondering why the B-1B bomber, a proven combat asset, is nos part of the Air Force Global Strike Force. As far as I know, only B-52Hs and B-2As are included in the ORBAT of this recently created Command.

The Lancer is, by all means, a long-legged, global capable bomber, so I don't understand why such a plane has to remain under the Air Combat Command control.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Anything to do with its non-nuclear role?
