The Chinese New Year (http://www.123chinesenewyear.com/) is coming soon and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all ethnic Chinese (and anyone else in DT who celebrate Chinese New Year), a prosperous year of the Ox (http://www.123chinesenewyear.com/new-year-of-ox/) or 'GONGJI FACAI' 公鸡发财
Best wishes to all for the year ahead. :)

公鸡发财
LOL! Where did you get this translation? Was somebody messing with you? It means cock got rich.
公鸡 = cock (as in chicken) in Chinese
:D :D

The words are extracted from a Singapore satire (http://www.talkingcock.com/html/index.php) website. It may be Chinese New Year, but it does not mean I cannot have a sense of humour about it, given we are in a global recession. I'm glad you noticed... Hehe...:D

Happy New Year! To bad, where I live it might as well be a made up holiday.

Hehe, Penang Free School gave us kids a one week holiday. Wohoo!
Too bad it's already over and now we're bogged down with homework once more.
