Do you think the Brandenburg class frigate is a valuable asset in war, or defence situations?
I believe that it is becuase it carries armament that can defeat many threats.
such as the exocet, or RAM missiles against air attacks. I read that it is mostly an anti-submarine ship. Don't know if this is true.
Also if anyone has detailed photos as i was unable to find many on search engines or sites, that would be appreciated.

It's a ASW ship because it supports two ASW helos. And drags along a towed array sonar in at least one case.
RAM against air attacks? NSSM would be first line (to be upgraded to ESSM).
