Hi guys,
I was wondering if you guys might have an idea of when the white paper will be released I know it is epected soon.
Also want to know what you guys want or think should be in it.
i.e. new purchases or manning levels or anything else you can come up with.
Cheers:)

Early 2009, due to it unfortuneately being delayed again.
As to what should be in it: a rule saying that $10 billion (1 for each of the next 10 years) won't be taken out of the budget due to cost-saving measures imposed by the def min (oh well...I can dream can't I?)
Artillery result re Land 19 would be nice too.
Mind you, the only thing i've found so far re WP, is Oz Def Dept looking at replacing Pacific-class patrol boats donated to 12 Pacific countries. (sigh)

The White Paper process itself will be completed in December, with the report to be released in March 2009, provided of course it's politically convenient to release it then... :)
Just like Mr Fitzgibbon's much trumpeted (a while back) Air Power Review...
