The previous one was closed for being a VS thread which are against the rules. If I were you I'd send a pm to the mods before making a second thread, and ask them why they closed it, since it didn't come off (at least to me) as a comparison thread.

The prior thread was closed due to the following
I know that it has probaly done before but I need to know.
who is better SAS or Spetsnaz
AND
who has better training or hand to hand? please give links
Any time someone begins to ask who/what is better, particularly with comparisons between forces the Mods tend to see it as a vs. thread. Largely due to the fact that even if that is not the initial intent, it will become one.
For the time being, a thread requesting just INFORMATION on the SAS and/or Spetsnaz will be allowed to remain open. If postings stray away from just information on the forces, or the information begins to look unreasonable (i.e. fanboy postings on their most or least favorite special forces, etc) then the thread will be closed. Do not expect much information, as the forces are 'Special Forces' and by their inherent nature, shy away from publications and providing open information. The SAS might be amongst the most famous of Western Special Forces units with the coverage it received during Operation Nimrod, however, that was something that the SAS likely feels it could have done without.
