Suggestion: Militarily Significant Travel Destinations and Locations

Hey Webs,
I was wondering if it would be alright to open a in the general zone, a place where people can post there favorite places or planned destinations with military significance.

Eg.
New Zealand: Waioru Army Museum
Australia: Imperial War Museum
US: San Diego Naval Base

The thread would also ask for a brief intro/reason for visit on each place.

In June/July I will be traveling to SE Asia including Vietnam, where I plan to visit some Viet Cong Tunnels and would be interested in finding other locations.

This would be a great way of sharing the Forums collective traveling experiences and knowledge in the Military/Defence context.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't see why it would be an issue... as long as provided information is correct and official sources are given so people can get more information / travel warnings, etc. should they decide to go to such places.

It would be a good addition IMHO, lets see what others have to say about it?
