I have recently come across this website that describes a vehicle based system that knocks out vehicles electronics by using pulses of microwave. Here is the link (http://eurekaaerospace.com/hpems.php).
Could this be adapted to feature on military vehicles as an active protection system, long, medium and short range (separate systems) vehicle disablers and short range missile defense.
From what I have read it can be reconfigured to any frequency range possible with microwave energy to specifically target specific threats.
This is basically an EMP gun in my opinion but I am interested to what others think of the system
