Suleman suggested this great and neat idea but we want to get your input on it as well.


I have some suggestion and looking forward for ur views.Why dont we start a new part for posts related to defence technology,ongoing research, and maybe research by members if they want to do,it can also work as defence modelers corner.this could be a great sucess and can attract some really technical members with real know how of defence.

its not only modeling people can also publish articles about ongoing research and technology sector research and advancement.Those who wana do modeling can do modeling too.Or if wana do their own research thats also good.

Thats why we have forums dedicated to each branch of the military. Any research or tech related to navy should be discussed in navy forum... having a different forum for just that stuff and then mixing army, airforce, navy in it would be a mess.

For modeling forum to fly, we need more PARTICIPANTS as we already have a lot of members registered.

What do you think we would name this forum? Defence Tech?

We could have that and inlude topics related to space as far as military is concerened(satellites, gps, etc) and modeling.

def technology is a nice name.But i wont like to restrict it to only modeling.Yes that would be great if we add topics like settelites,Gps,latest research in millitary like in genetic researc,computers,armours signals etc which are future of millitaries and cud be used in all fields navy,airforce,army.I suggesting different corner coz it will add a new dynamic feature for our site and specially visible to all.Its a bit confusing as wehere to add topics of latest technology eg genetic?

I agree with Oqaab.We know two Israeli experts at pdf.I'll get both myself and Oqaab to rope those guys in. Elkaboingo is already here.All we need is LULLDAPULL(what do u say webs :D) .Great aero modeller though there will be loads of editting for us to do if he ever comes here.

Now for a serious suggestion.Webs what I've noticed is that many members/guests just come to the main site read the news and go away.I think that in order to get them to post here we should put alink like "Your thoughts, comments, about this article" or "What did this article make u think about"( sound stupid don't I ;) ) .These links would be linked to the forum.Members would not have to log in from these links and guests could be redirected towards registeration.Is this thing feasible? :help

Umair, we had that and we do but its hidden due to a "security hole" which I will send you a PM about later.

I don't care who comes and posts as long as they follow the rules and give everyone their due respect.
