Media Reports Of IDFAF Viper Being Shot Down

Almost all news channels are reporting the downing of a Viper over Lebanon with video footage. Israel is denying
First a C802 takes out a Sa'ar 5 corvette,though one former PAF pilot who flew MirageVs in the naval support role(one of my former teachers) said that it was more likely a C701 than a C802. Because a missile like the C802 if it had hit a vessel the size of the Sa'ar would have totally incapacitated it.(his actual words were" blown skyhigh").
So any confirmation of this from anyother sources than the media?

yes most likely a gunship halo ... I saw the clip and it dint look an aircraft but some thing was shot down.

Actually, Israel has said it was just a rocket that hand been half launched after they bombed the truck that was carrying it.
