what happened to my posts????

i am new to the forum.yesterday i had posted some replies in these forums.i had also seen these replies 'posted' in the forum soon afterwards.but today i cannot find them.were they deleted????if so,why????they did not have anything provocative.the one that i posted in the military history&tactics forum- lets widen our strategic/tactical knowhow -thread was nothing but a question.it never involved any country or religion.i am wondering....

there was a problem with the datbase, about 300 posts got nuked accidentally.
