This is a prototype flight.It's a 14 seater.This can be used in military scenario also as a passenger aircraft.For executive use it can be made 7 seater with extra space inside also increasing the loads capacity.
Saras is a name of a bird in SANSKRIT.

nice its reverse turbo Prop. i hope it meets the safety standards usually commercial jets have higher standards, i'm sure this Ac has all the necessary quality checks in-place.

There is still a lot of work required in the project and apparently the air-craft still requires some reduction of weight to achieve the desired levels of operating efficiecy.Correct timing is crucial for such projects for achieving any success in the highly competitive civil aviation sector.Best of luck to the Saras team.
