The MiG-I-2000 looks really smart, has anyone got more info on this aircraft, apart from it having stealth :)
Or is it at just conceptual design stage

It's a conceptual that is as dead as guinea pig stuck in a food blender. ;)
Another wonderful design (??) that died due to a lack of reality and roubles.

Mig 1.44 is a experimental platform, and should not be classified as future Migs. The company itself is growing desperate every single day, almost solely relying on the fund they make repairing used Migs to keep themselves going. There's two possible ending for Mikoyan, one go bankrupt and wait for Sukhoi to pick up its remains, or (unlikely) manages to find a big foreign buyer for its concepts such as the Mig 1.44. Either way the glorious days of Migs are gone.

MiG I.2000 was something with Iran and MiG pulled out of the project latter. It was suppose to be a medium stealth light fighter/trainer.
The MiG-35 has very interesting designs. In my opinon if Mapo had enough funds it would have surpassed the Eurofighter.

Boy, you leave yourself open to responses when you say things like that. ;)
In the absence of any real empirical data on the MFI, why would you even risk saying that? :eek

Sorry, I didn't understand your response. Are you disagreeing with the MFI comment?
If you do, can you point out why both Mikoyan, the MFI lead designer and the lead test pilot reinforced that the plane has no future? Mikoyan is sparse on funds and has been directed to provide Irkut with maximum commercial support by the Rus Govt. It can't be much clearer than that, and has been a persistent and consistent message by all the principal parties.
It wasn't meant to be funny, it was an analogy to reinforce what the above 3 entities have said.
