first of all i never said india wants to fight china or defeat it or anything as such i was just saying that india is not keeping quiet .second thing you seem to understimate the capablities of the indian engineers .ofcourse india will not go alone they will definitely do it with foreign assistance .suez canal was not built by egypt on its own.thirdly this will not anger singapore . fourthly i want you to research about the adams bridge .a stone bridge connecting india and sri lanka claimed in indian literature to have been built several hundred years back.it got submerged recent satellite surveys have confirmed its presence .lrecent surveys have also confirmed it to be manbuilt .the rocks weighing several tonnes were broughtfrom south indian hills shaped and thrown into the sea.this shows the capability of the indian engineers.

yes we should get the "Several hundred" year old engineer to Make the cannal, or the Engineering sjills might be INherited By Genes. if that were the case then Egyptians should of built the first Sky scraper in modern time, well since Pharaohs built the most sophisticated structure in medieval time !!!
Ok forget this topic u and i will never see eye to eye on this, and i never said suez was only built by the Egyptians them selves there is something called feasibility Cost and the Appropriate Cost to benefit ratio that i doubt will come in anyones favour (who would like the cannal). INdia is almost an entire continent spanning that distance would cost Alot and take up years and years and year worth of labour. wouldn't it be a litle more simpler to establish a powefull naval base at the arabian sea on part of the indian Shore!!! and supply the Port or the naval base by one of those super highways. surely you navy vessels can defend one Strategic Base next to your already established Naval foe.

SO a country that can put a setellite into orbit, bring it back safely and which is planning a mission to the moon can't build an oversized canal?

Stick to the topic. Which is might i remind you about better naval support for PN from PLAN.

here we go again sending a satalite and PLANNING A MISSION TO the moon requires different set of skills, there are no other ways to send satalite or plan a trip to moon other then Conventional space travel, stop with INDIA IS GREAT attitude and listen to my argument with an open mind while useing abit of that Grey matter in you head.. and you would realize that How challenging this type of Constructions can be the construction can span decades cost billion and billions and billions of dollar enought to bankcrupt a nation, the maintainance of such cannals would then cost millions and millions, so wouldn't it make wee bit more sense to establish a Base on the Other Dam side of the Continent, why is that you wan't to spend 10en of billion in construction of a potentially flaud idea while a naval and port base can do the job alot better !!!
apologize crossair would-not deviate from the topic again!!

My Last Off-Topic Post:
adsH,
Your argument it's a great engineering task. Frankly it is not impossible. It's not trivial but is tiring. And it has not been sanctioned as yet, it's under consideration. It is also closely linked to the River-Linking project, there are rivers that have delta's in the Arabian seas and Bay of Bengals and the actual canal is just to link these two rivers. I would give more info into this but I fear getting a temporary ban for off-topic stuff.
Sorry for the off-topic

and egyptian people built the canal directed by a frenchman and funded by the brits and french.
Egyptians should seriously consider destroying the canal, is 1 billion a year really worth the inablity to send forces across the sanai?
