KARACHI: Pakistan Navy's annual maritime exercise Sea Spark and Pak-Saudi joint naval exercise Naseem-Al-Behr concluded here in the Arabia Sea with an impressive display of firepower.

The show involved firing of missiles by the ships and aircraft, which successfully hit the targets, said a Navy statement here.

Minister for Defence Rao Sikandar Iqbal and Finance Minister, Shoukat Aziz along with Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Shahid Karimullah, high-ranking government officials, senior armed forces officers aboard PNS NASR witnessed the firepower demonstration and different manoeuvres of ships, submarines and aircraft involved in the exercise, and appreciated the professionalism and performance of both the navies.

The exercise involved all formations and units of Pakistan Navy including the active participation of ships from Saudi Arabia.

Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Shahid Karimullah visited Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Force ships at high seas and various coastal stations in connection with exercise Seaspark-2004 and Naseem-Al-Behr.

This happens every year? Why am i reading this the first time that Pakistan and Saudis had an excersise?

Yeah I guess it happens more often than just this year! I've heard of such exercises in the past as well.
