Good job webbie..I know you have better things to do, but this unpleasant task needs to be done.

I hope this site continues to flourish and stick to its guiding principles. I applaud you and the members here.

Hawk, thanks for the kind wishes.

As watcher said, we are one of the most civlized websites and we work hard to continue to be one. I hope those who come here with intentions of hurting the atmosphere realize that we will not tolerate their B.S as other forums might have. Other than that, defencetalk.com welcomes all and everyone with no exception all we ask is that you follow the RULES.

Freedom of speech with touch of respect.

Re: Ban List

you have the right info Hawk.
Whats disturbing is the fact that bad fish from both the forums are changing places or migrating from here 2 there and from there 2 here after getting banned or warned in either place.
I have spotted some of their bad fish here and u know what I mean.
The admin really will have to keep their eyes open for these guys.
P.S Hawk r u SMERCH over there?

No, I am HAWK THE SLAYER...I dont do "mine is bigger than yours" kind of debates..unfortunately, there are far too many forums that induclge in that kind of stuff. best to stay out of discussions like that.

Better check out that other character...wanna make sure I dont get associated with dodgy characters...

Re: The bad, the ugly and the unfortunate - Ban List!

not sure whether this is feasible for you, but on the other forum I moderate they delete all of the offenders posts as well.

it makes a definite statement to them about being removed, there are no vestiges left of any hateful or inflammatory threads left.

its good to see these clowns getting binned. this is a good forum with lots of potential.

Thanks GF.

We'll look into deleting all posts of banned users to reenforce the idea that either follow the rules or don't post at all!

I don't know why people would go out of their way to mess up topics with their political/religious rants!

I had started to delete some of his more "ruder" posts yesterday. I guess he'll have to retype some of them...
