Hi guys
I have 3 questions to the US-Military Aircrafts.
First of all:
a) I know, that I have many questions, but it would be nice if somebody could answer them.
b) I know, that my questions might be "suspicious", because they go very into detail, but I'm just interested in it.
c) Maybe people say now "use google", but these questions are not as easy as they might look.
I hope you guys understand it.
To the questions:
1.) How many of each of these aircrafts does the US-Military have?
- A-10C Thunderbolt II (US Air Force)
- B-1 Lancer (US Air Force)
- B-2 Spirit (US Air Force)
- B-52 Stratofortress (US Air Force)
- F-15 C/D Eagle (US Air Force)
- F-15 E Strike Eagle (US Air Force)
- F-16 C/D Fighting Falcon (US Air Force)
- F/A-18 A/B/C/D Hornet (US Marine Corps / US Navy)
- F/A-18 E/F Super Hornet (US Navy)
- F-22 A Raptor (US Air Force)
- F-35 A/B/C Lightning II (US Air Force / US Marine Corps / US Navy)
2.) How many of each of these aircrafts are ALWAYS combat ready?
(Please also tell it to each aircraft type (see list above))
3.) What is with the rest, which are not always combat ready? Does it take long to make them combat ready? How long?
As I said guys, I have many questions, but I'm interested in it. I hope you understand.
Best wishes and thank you!
