Hi all, I'm currently writing a novel focusing on the CIA and Iran and I was wondering if the Israeli Air Force has a dedicated support squadron for special operations, similar to the 160th SOAR or the 171st Aviation Squadron here in Australia, or would they just use assets from the regular helicopter squadrons?
My scenario involves inserting Sayeret Matkal operators into Iran, who would be the most likely unit to undertake that mission?
