C-130 or P-3?

Ok, so, given a photo that isn't distinctive, or color schemes that don't match the standard USAF/USN color schemes, what physical features does one look for to tell a C-130 Hercules transport from a P-3 Orion naval patrol aircraft?

1. Wing configuration: C-130 is high-wing, P-3 low/mid-wing.

2. Tail: P-3s are generally fitted with a "stinger" that protrudes from the tail.

3. Landing gear: P-3 have longer tricycle landing gear than C-130s.

Hard to see how they could be confused.

The C-130 rear fuselage also angles upward toward the tail to provide clearance for the rear cargo ramp.. not so with the P-3.

and thats why this thread just got closed.

if the question was about a herc and a transall then it might have merit. google would have shown enough to inform rather than use the forum to ask what is visibly obvious.
